About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Dominique and I am from Montreal, Quebec and now live in Nappanee, Ontario. In 2014, I visited Whitby, UK with my husband. I simply fell in love with its Goth subculture and we decided to return in 2015 for the biannual Whitby Gothic music festival. The festival attracts thousands of adults and children who come to celebrate the eclectic mix of Victorian, Gothic and Steampunk. The costume extravaganza including the  jewelry and accessories is simply stunning and intoxicating. If you don’t believe me just do a simple google image search and get ready to be dazzled.

As long as I can remember, I have always had a project on the go, or a new craft I am learning.  I am not very good at just sitting still and thought why not giving steampunk jewelry a go.  I work as a Forensic Social Worker and while I love what I do, Steampunk jewelry making provides me with a great way to relax, an opportunity to harness my skills, and to exploit my inborn creativity.

The beauty of steampunk is that it is easy to add or take away from your everyday outfits. Each piece is truly unique and intriguing. The combination of jewelry and clockworks is simply magical to me. Every piece of jewelry created transports me in a place where I am the heroine of a Jules Verne’s novel and time travel, teleportation, and hot air balloon rides are only limited by my own imagination. I simply love to wear that magic in everyday life.

I hope you will enjoy my jewelry as much as I do and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any question or request.

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to hear from you!

Dominique
